Free Walk in Venice
I am on official licensed tour guide and great lover of Venice, I will be able to tell you things about Venice that you cannot find in any travel book. I know plenty ( not all, I can discover something new everyday. This is the reason why I love Venice) about Venice curiosities
My FREE WALK IN VENICE covers many sights in the city center, (not San Marc square, I suggest you to contact me for a private tour there) allowing you to know the authentic side of Venice, a sightseeing walk through narrow streets and canals, beautiful campi (not squares!) with their palaces, wells and symbols. I will help you to know areas of Venice less frequented by tourists and more authentic in contrast of the classic tourist routes. Please keep this into consideration to plan your time in Venice at best!
I highly recommend participating at this tour on your first day here, to have many useful tips about what to do and what to see after the FREE WALK IN VENICE tour to feel like a local during your stay in Venice!
Are you scared of a few drops of rain? I am not! ;) Snow, shine or high water I would be there waiting for you if the date is open. I also consider changes to the route and duration considering guests' comfort. I have run tours at -5°C as well as harsh sun.
In case of strikes / very bad weather conditions / demonstrations the tour can be cancelled but don’t worry you’ll be advised, otherwise I run FREE WALK IN VENICE tours rain or shine!
Please, I kindly ask you to inform me if you are not coming to the walk. I run just small group tours an it is important to allow other participant to enjoy the walk
Then you would be lucky to have your own tour with someone to show your around Venice.
In case of strikes / bad weather conditions / demonstrations the tour can be cancelled otherwise we run FREE WALK IN VENICE tours in any conditions!
I kindly ask you to keep into consideration that Venice can be a maze for not locals. Please, try to reach the meeting point 10 minutes before the tour starts to complete the check in procedures because the tour will start on exact time. I also recommend checking with your concierge or online (Google Maps) how much time you need to make it to the tour on time and allow some extra buffer time, because it’s really easy to get lost in Venice... without me! In case you still miss the tour, unfortunately there is no possibility to join the group later, just the following available day!
You might wanna give us heads up writing on our email. This way we may be able to get more people to show you around and provide much better experience for you and your friends. I run just small group tour, Venice is a special fragile city that need respect as well its locals venetian. Big groups are not the best solution! This is why I always ask you to inform me if you can't join the walk.
